A cozy spring table centerpiece idea using a garden statue and a beautiful wreath.
Spring Table Centerpiece Idea
You know, sometimes I know where I am going with a styling and other times- I wing it. I start gathering the things I know would like to use and then spend a little time thinking and staring before moving in a direction. A spring table was always the topic- but this was one of those times where the styling evolved.
I knew I wanted to use this wreath for a centerpiece – but did not add the statue until I was moving it off another table to make room for this one and saw it in a different light.
Garden Elements as a centerpiece
Of course, using garden elements on a table for a centerpiece is not something new. And it made perfect sense as I was gathering bits for the ‘sunroom’ table styling. Here are a few tips for creating a spring table centerpiece for a garden inspired look- and a closer look.
French Market Foliage
This is a favorite foliage of mine- and it is actually the one that I designed. This is the French Market Collection I created for Balsam Hill. This is a smaller wreath that is a new addition to the collection and a perfect size for using on the table for spring.
Tip: Use a wreath to create a lush centerpiece on a round table. Place candles, a floral arrangement or a garden statue in the center for a charming look.
Spring Table Vintage Florals & Collected Pieces
A set of silver flatware that I found on the marketplace was tied with a velvet ribbon and placed on a thrift store with vintage floral plates. These are such pretty little detailed plates for spring- I love the edging and dainty flowers.
Tip- Collected and mismatched place setting pieces are perfect for spring tables and add a unique look that is all your own.
Creating the table centerpiece
Simply place the wreath right over the statue and fluff it around the base. I also added a few sprigs of fresh eucalyptus underneath the edge of the wreath to add a little scent as well.
Creating a Garden Room Backdrop
Creating a garden room styling can be as simple as placing a table in front of a window or French doors and adding some potted trees. For this spring table- I moved the table to the entry sunroom and brought a couple of olive trees inside to bring the outside in. 2 tall olive trees by the French doors made the backdrop full of greenery- and 2 small potted olive trees below brought in another layer.
