Welcome to the weekend view. This week- it is all about family and a new wee one to love.
I was a tad quiet on the blog and social media last week -it was a week full of family fun, baby snuggles and babysitting. Our family has been so blessed with Juliette and Enzo – & we welcomed our third grand baby last week.
Welcome Jionni
A sweet little one joined our family last week. Juliette is now a big sister to baby brother Jionni. He is a tiny little bundle of joy and he looks so much like Juliette did when she was born.
Momma and baby are doing well and navigating their first week as a family of 4 and have been soaking up all the newborn baby cuddles.
LakeFun
We have been at our sons house everyday this week to help them get settled and help out with Juliette. Katt had a c-section and needs to take it easy and Juliette has lots of energy. Taking her on walks around the neighborhood, running around the park and in the backyard has been on repeat.
Yesterday we decided to walk to a lake for something different to do. She loves playing in water and had a great time tossing rocks and splashing with sticks. As you can see, the rain finally moved on out for a bit. It’s so nice to be able to get out and enjoy some sunshine.
Enzo Snuggles
On Friday evening, we had family dinner night and our grandson Enzo met his new baby cousin for the first time. I enjoyed lots of snuggles with this little guy and he was a bundle of smiles as always. His momma sent me this snap of him the next morning while he was napping saying he was tired from all the festivities. Look at those cute rolls!! He is such a little charmer!
Coming your Way
Back to work as usual over here this week. Would you believe that I haven’t picked up my big camera in several weeks? It is always a bit of a lull after the busy of the holidays- I tend to need to slow down and recharge my creative energy. But we have some fun things on the blog agenda coming your way. A couple marketplace scores, vintage trailer updates, a few plans for some changes in the house and simple, natural decorating ideas for winter. And I do realize I have not yet shared my Reflections and Dreams post for the New Year- I am running a but behind for sure but that is coming your way too.
Happy Sunday all.
